 Vietnam's northwest hill tribes could teach the world's fashion gurus a thing or two about colour sense. While some wear what could be labelled basic black, most favour a different look. The bright hues of their traditional dress and the variety of foods, handcrafts and hardware for which they bargain make market days the most exciting ones on which to visit the northern Vietnamese hill towns of BacHa and Sapa.
