Ole! You can't help shouting as the bull stops pawing the sand and charges at the matador. That beast and matador are tourists, living their Spanish fantasy, is not surprising, because Ronda is the home of modern bullfighting and its Plaza de Toros one of Spain's oldest and most venerated. Enamel-blue sky often crowns the bullring's yellow and blood-red stands. People, hand-painted plates and postcards splash other colours on the spectacular pueblo blanco outside.
