  Pattaya caters for all tastes weird and wonderful. Attractions - and distractions - abound on the coast southeast of Bangkok. A water-sport wonderland, somewhere to race go-karts and ride horses, topple ten pins and make pars (there are 15 golf courses within 50km), Pattaya is also a marketplace selling everything from Buddhas to bar girls. Pattaya is nothing like it was before GIs first rested and recreated there in 1959.
